Distant Echoes

Distant Echoes is a survival horror experience set in the late 1980s.

You play as a small-town cop sent to investigate the disappearance of three cryptid hunters in the woods. What begins as a simple search spirals into a nightmare of abandoned camps, torn journals, and whispered warnings in the trees.

Deep in the forest, a hidden cult prepares an ancient ritual—one meant to keep something alive that should never have existed. As the echoes of sirens call through the night, you must decide how far you’re willing to go to uncover the truth… and whether you’ll survive long enough to escape it.

This game was scripted and designed by me in exactly 30 days as a personal challenge. I used paid models from the unity asset store for a vast majority of the 3d assets and collected and edited other 3d assets as needed.
